Trainer Biography
Avery, 13, from Kentucky, is a passionate young horsewoman whose love for horses began at an early age. She enjoys learning all aspects of horsemanship and is especially interested in developing horses through patience, consistency, and a strong foundation on the ground. In 2026, Avery competed in her first training competition in the Heart of the Horse Youth Pony Division, where she earned Reserve Champion honors. The experience further fueled her passion for training and gave her the opportunity to showcase the progress she had made with her pony. Avery currently trains alongside Rockin H Training, where she gains hands-on experience working with a variety of horses and continues to expand her knowledge as a horsewoman. Through this opportunity, she has been able to help develop multiple mustangs and learn about the unique challenges and rewards that come with training America's wild horses. Excited to take the next step in her journey, Avery is looking forward to bringing along her very own American Mustang and embracing all the lessons and experiences that come with the Bluegrass Mustang Makeover.
