Trainer Biography
Gavin, 22, is a horseman from Akron, Ohio, whose lifelong passion for horses began at an early age. His background includes 4-H, western riding team competition, the Quarter Horse Congress, and training across multiple disciplines including western pleasure, reining, contesting, and English riding. For the past eight years, Gavin has focused on working with wild mustangs, competing in multiple Mustang Makeovers and TIP Challenges. His training philosophy is rooted in natural horsemanship, emphasizing trust, communication, and mutual respect while helping horses develop confidence and a willing attitude. Guided by mentors Luke Gingrich and Matt Zimmerman, Gavin continues to expand his knowledge and is excited to showcase the versatility and potential of America's wild horses at the Bluegrass Mustang Makeover.
